The Procession of the Holy Blood takes place on Ascension Day every year. In 2024 this will be on Thursday 9th May and in 2025 this will be Thursday 29th May.
The procession will start in the Dijver at 2.30 pm. The passage of the procession will take about an hour and a half at any point along the route. Depending on the route location, the procession could pass by a little earlier or later. The procession will end at 5.30 pm.
Tickets
You can take place anywhere you like along the route. You do not need to buy a ticket and can simply choose your own preferred place. Watching the procession pass by is free.
Would you like to watch the procession pass by from a bench or the stands? Then you will need to purchase a ticket.
You can order your tickets online. You also can reach Tourist Info t Zand (Concertgebouw, open from Monday-Saturday: 10.00 a.m.-1.00 p.m. & 2.00-5.00 p.m., Sunday and public holidays: 10.00 a.m.-2.00 p.m.), Tourist Info Markt (Historium, open form Monday-Sunday: 10.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m.) or call +32(0)78 15 20 20 (Monday-Friday: 2.00-5.00 p.m.).

Cancellation
If the Procession of the Holy Blood is officially canceled (for example due to bad weather conditions), ticket holders have two options:
- or you choose to rebook your ticket free of charge to the next edition of 2025. You can do this until 15 March 2025.
- or you choose to have your ticket refunded. You can also do this until March 15, 2025.
In&Uit will contact all ticket holders for a rebooking or refund with the procedure to be followed.
